SUPPORT ARTSAKH VETERANS AND WARAFFECTED WOMEN

Dearest donors, 

It is such a beautiful feeling to open the donations bar of GlobalGiving and see so many of you remaining with us even after the direct threat of the war seemed to have left our realities, hopefully permanantly. 

THANK YOU! Without your support we would have been able to so many women find hope - the light at the end of the tunnel, when so many of the challenges facing their families seemed to have blurred their hearts. 

With your support and donations, "For Equal Rights" Educational NGO was able to support 10 women, spending in total ~1.4 million Armenian drams to improve their skills or support descover new occupations. Six of these women have received professional training and a fancy-shmancy certificate from ArtsHouse Educational Center becoming certified specialists in floristry, manicure and peticure, tailoring, make up, etc. We even have a woman who is planning to study Adobe Illustration so she can revive Armenian and Artsakhi patterns, then handmake embroideries with those same patterns. Imagine that?!

And we have so many stories like this. Almost every week we have one or two of our women visit our office for a short cup of coffee but we end up having long-long conversation - sharing our worries of the world, as well as the things that keep us going. 

For all this, we are thankful to you for your trust, dedication, and support throughout these years. 

We look forward to, perhaps one day, seeing you at our office, alongside our beneficiaries, drinking Armenian coffee and laughing at our balcony.
