Because of your amazing generosity so far, we've been able to begin work on two of our four student bathrooms. The work, being done by local masons and the parents of our own students, will provide our students with new, fresh, and clean bathrooms to support their health and hygiene. The bathrooms will have new tile floors, bright, colorful paint, and new sinks and toilets. The most excited students might be our prepas/kindergartners....they'll finally be able to reach the sinks on their own to wash their hands and brush their teeth!
We have also been able to put a fresh coat of paint on all of the walls in the School of Hope. It's amazing what a little paint make over can do for the morale of our students and teachers - the rooms are bright and cheery, and so are our students!
There is still time for you to provide further support for this work. We're still working to raise the funs to re-model our other two bathrooms, and we're certain we can raise that money before the end of the year because we're participating in GlobalGiving's year-end campaign. From now until December 31, any funds donated to this project has the potential of earning bonus funds awared by GlobalGiving and getting us even closer to our goal. So, please consider donating again, and just as importantly, please share this project with your friends, family, and colleagues and encourage them to support this important work. How wonderful will it be for our students to return to classes in January with brand new bathrooms?!
