15 year old Mosina lives with her family in Palasli village with her father who works as a irrigation labourer. She had aspired to study English and computer science.
Mosina’s father never believed that it was important for a girl to be educated . He was rigid that education was not required for his daughter because she was to get married anyway. The project coordinator of Sukarya regularly counseled her father educating him about the importance of vocational training centre (VTC) facility which was conveniently located in the village. After a couple of counseling session, Mosina’s father was convinced and agreed to send his daughter to the VTC.
Mosina thanks the team of Sukarya for opening a VTC facility within her village and motivating her father to let her take classes of her interest. She has now completed her English course and the beginners course in IT scoring more than 80 % marks in both discipline. Mosina's was a success story which inspired many other boys, girls and even adults to join classes at the VTC.
