When you meet Fabricio for the first time it is very unlikely that you can never ever forget his cute and sweet big smile. He is giving big steps to overcoming a trauma caused by the accident when he pulled down the cord of a kettle and all the hot water fell over him causing burns in his little head, back, intimates parts and legs.
I love the connection he has with her mama, it just took me few minutes to realize how much they love each other and understand the beautiful bond between them. Fabricio’s mum support in therapies have been so important in the progress of his integral rehabilitation.
Months ago little Fabricio was chosen to be the image of a great campaign we launched with a company. People there just loved his cute and big smile -as all of us-, I think everyone of us that have seen it react like that doesnt it? Because he is a symbol of all our kids: their strength and the way they learn to see life again is what we love to see in our patients. We are so proud of them!
One of this company managers told me that he never thought that our kids could smile like this due the situation they are living. So I explained him that’s the goal of our work. We want all of our children have a second chance to enjoy life the same way they did it before -even better!-
But there is still a big challenge to overcome, something that can make this little one happier than he is now: Fabricio has to receive several therapies and use special garments to improve motion on his arms. We know there is a long way to go but we feel happy to count on all of you to trough this path.
He already knows that there are kind people whom are supporting his treatments. And when I told him that I wanted to make a photo to send it to all these people, he made this sign - “A kiss" he said!
Thank you so much again for helping us to make Fabricio a happier little boy!
Besides him, there are other kids that urgently need our help. You can help us to change their lives and give them the integral rehabilitation they deserve - click on the link below to read their story. Thank you so much and have great day!
