Thank you — we can’t say it enough! Because of your generosity, people struggling after the volcanic eruption in East Java, Indonesia, were able to receive first aid, medical care and food donations, as well as ongoing support by a trusted nonprofit partner.
The Indonesia Volcano Relief Fund, in partnership with GlobalGiving’s crisis response partnership with Meta, powered one grant to Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT Foundation).
The organization supported survivors of the volcanic eruption through evacuation support, first aid, medical care, and food donations, as well as the launch of its own relief fund to raise donations for longer-term care in the Mount Semeru area.
Your donation is advancing community-led recovery, and it means people in East Java will receive critical resources to help their community rebuild in the short and longer term.
This fund is no longer accepting donations, and this will be the last fund report of this kind from our team.
