Thanks to your contribution, we continue with the training processes of 220 rural and indigenous women, organized into 27 groups, in the municipalities of Teabo, Maní, Dzan, Oxkutzcab, Tekax and Chansinkín in Yucatán; and in Hopelchén and Calkiní in Campeche.

Among the 27 groups that work with the bee (which have 32 meliponarians in total), we generate strategies for the acquisition of assets that allow them to capitalize and develop their productive projects. We deliver work tables, pots, scales, among other materials, with which you can improve your production process. Likewise, we were able to deliver the melipon bee hives on loan.

The participants also increased their knowledge in the productive field, because through academic and research institutes, it was possible to provide advice in Yucatan by a specialist biologist for proper management of meliponarians. There, the participants were able to express and resolve doubts.

In terms of marketing, the participants received and successfully completed a course on the use of social networks for marketing purposes. In this way, they were able to carry out both face-to-face (in small groups) and online sales, which allowed them to have an additional income in December, by selling special Christmas-themed packages.

All this has been possible thanks to you! Your support transforms lives. Help us achieve more, share our project with friends and family.
