The Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Program aims to provide physical therapy service to a number of children who suffer from motor and mental problems in particular
Session objectives:
Muscle lengthening and lower limbs strengthening. Practice walking, standing, and improving balance
Long-term treatment: -
Ability to stand and balance.
Changes that occurred within three months:
Increased muscle tone in the lower extremities
Improvement in muscle length and movement
Improvement in posture
Treatment methods used:
Stretching exercises
Strengthening exercises
Standing exercises
Session objectives: -
It includes stretching muscles, relieving pain, strengthening muscles, increasing a sense of joints, improving balance, adjusting body posture, improving fine muscles (hands), training in movement movements from chair to bed / from chair to chair.
Long-term treatment goals: -
Ability to stand and balance.
Changes that occurred during three months: -
Better balance when making a transition.
Muscle strength and mobility of the joints and lower extremities (knee joint, hip joint) improved.
Make a standing position from a sitting position using the walker.
Improve the use of the bathroom and the transition from chair to chair.
Treatment methods used: -
Stretching exercises.
Strengthening exercises.
Mobility exercises.
Balance exercises.
Cognitive and mental exercises.
Exercises of fine muscles.
Breathing exercises.
Session objectives:
Muscle strengthening
Improving the breathing process
Get rid of secretions accumulated in the lungs
Work to improve and strengthen the delicate muscles
Long-term goals of treatment:
Get rid of secretions accumulation and improve breathing
Changes that occurred within three months:
Slight changes and improvement
Methods used in treatment:
Lungs elimination exercises
Breathing muscle strengthening exercises
Exercises of fine muscles
Session objectives: -
Muscle strengthening.
Improve balance (standing on one foot) and visual and motor synergy.
Long-term goals of treatment: -
Get a balanced walk with a small footing.
Changes that occurred during the three months: -
Improves balance when walking and relieves rapid, random movements.
It improves muscle strength of the lower and upper extremities.
Treatment methods used: -
Walking exercises in loops of lines and narrow lanes.
Balance exercises on the round plate for balance.
Strengthening exercises using stairs.
Adham suffers from cerebral palsy quadriplegia more than the upper extremities. He takes 2 sessions 5 per week.
Session objectives: -
Muscle stretching includes lower and upper extremities, strengthening muscles, improving balance and gait pattern, strengthening fine muscles (hands), balance exercises.
Long-term goals of treatment: -
Correct gait pattern and balance while walking.
Treatment methods used: -
Balance, strengthening and breathing exercises.
Precision muscle exercises.
