Dear Supporters,
Thank you for your generous support of our School Health Education Program in Santiago. Your contribution has played a crucial role in improving the health and well-being of school children across the country.
We are excited to share that we are expanding our program to include an additional school this year for a total of 6 school across the community of Santiago. Our educators are now reaching 1000 children each year providing essential health education on topics such as hygiene, nutrition, and disease prevention.
Our team is returning to Santiago next week for our Spring trip. We will collect health data that we use to follow the growth of children over time. In addition, children will receive a dose of albendazole to help treat any parasites and prevent anemia. Stay tuned for more updates from our team!
We are deeply grateful for your partnership in this important work. Together, we are making a lasting impact on the health of Guatemala’s children. Once again, thank you for all that you do to support our work in improving the health of children in Santiago!
