Buenavista All-Lights Village Leader joined Fisher

The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) is the government agency responsible for the development, improvement, management and conservation of the country's fisheries and aquatic resources. The Provincial Council deputized the Local Government Units to  enforce all fishery laws, rules and regulations as well as valid fishery ordinances enacted by the municipal/city council. On September 7-9, 2022, the Municipal Government of Palompon in collaboration with Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Region 8 conducted a training seminar that will capacitate and equip all coastal barangays fisherfolks association leaders. Buenavista All-Lights Village Fisherfolks Association President Ronilo Tampos was invited by the local government to participate in the said training semimar held in Municipal Gym. The goal of the training is to create a team in Palompon.
The event was officially welcomed by Hon. Vice Mayor Ferdinand Dela Calzada (Municipal Vice Mayor) on behalf of Mayor Ramon C. Oñate (Municipal Mayor).EeThe LGU-Palompon led by Mayor Ramon C. Oñate would like to express a sincere gratitude to the DA-BFAR (Department of Agriculture- Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources) Region 8 led by Atty. Bienvenido Elorcha II (BFAR Legal Assistant), Dexter D. De Leon (BFAR Fisheries Technician), Ariel V. Calamaya (BFAR, FPLEG) Ms. Mary Tiezel G. Rufin (Municipal Agriculturist) for initiating this training to make fisherfolks be reaponsible and accountable in practicing the Laws of Fishery.
President Ronilo Tampos of Buenavista All-Lights Village Association was inspired and satisfied with the training attended because the learning was comprehensive and very informative and must be  understood by all members.
