Project implementation of GlobalGiving's: Solar Lamps for 900 Indigenous Filipino Children

The project was implemented in Mansalay Oriental Mindoro last April 10 and 11, 2021. The Local Government Unit (LGU) assisted the implementation through Mr. Cyrus Marquez, the focal person assigns by the municipality of Mansalay in coordinating with the families of Manyan Tribe in Mansalay. The project was implemented into 2 different sites. The Sitio Tagaytay in Barangay Bonbon and Sitio Pookan 2 in Barangay Poblacion. Sixteen (16) families from the two community receives 8 solar lamps for each household. The Local Government Unit of Mansalay expressed their gratefulness for continuing support of Global Peace Foundation and GlobalGiving to the Indigenous families resided in their municipality through the provision of solar lamps. The 16 families are thankful that they can more productive economically; they can save more money instead of purchasing kerosene for their light at night.
