The #EuSouProtagonista project has a duration of 6 months and assists teenagers from 15 to 17 years of age, aiming at stimulating the protagonism through the promotion of reflection and creation of life projects, with progressive and contextualized actions of access to culture, sport and leisure, promoting autonomy, capacity for interaction and collective action in the neighborhood as well as facilitating access to decent work
In the territory in which the Project will be applied (Pq. Imperial / Barueri) it is clear that it is characterized by a high level of social vulnerability, high rates of teenage pregnancy and domestic violence, in addition to drug addiction in the age group of 14 to 24 years old and according to a survey carried out in the Municipal Plan for Children and Adolescents, there was a high rate of students in public schools with age distortion and school dropout in the final years.
Based on the planned actions, it is understood that the 30 participating adolescents will be encouraged to reflect and break a cycle of vulnerability imposed by their financial and geographical condition, aiming at creating a culture of choices and possibilities not yet accessed by adolescents, deconstructing a historical context -social, establishing a connection for the collective construction of a life project.
