We are excited to report that we have put your donations to good use. Thus far, we have directly helped 400 people. Each of them received 30 pounds of new clothing, since they had lost everything. In addition, 150 of them received five pouds of corn to make tortillas and five pounds of beans. The basic needs for food, clothing, and shelter are still urgent. We appreciate your contributons so far, and look forward to helping more with more of these urgent needs in the near future. You can see from the photos that the needs are great. Getting hit with back to back hurricanes is devastating. The people are resilient, and we are working with them to get them what they need, hopefully before hurricane season this year.
