Expanding production
Dear Friend,
Thank you very much for your donation to our project appealing to donors to help us assuage hunger and malnutrition in remote villages. Soil is no longer fertile and it will take years for soil regeneration activities to take effect so whatever arable and still fertile land available by farmers, we support by the growing of food especially vegetables because they pack much nutrients and they mature early earning good income for the farmer. This reporting period we are able to support 5 young farmers and their families improve their gardening activities. We are linking them to market access so that the control of middlemen is eliminated. Hoping for your additional support so that we can expand this initiative. Thank you very much.
Very sincerely yours,
Jed Christian Sayre

Farm inputs support
Dear Friend,
Thank you very much for your support to our initiative providing to poor families affected by hunger. Together with the lack of food is malnutrition, poor health and the inability to improve overall living conditions. This reporting period we are happy to report that we were able to request and gather support from local leaders in the community to provide material resources so that we can increase our number of beneficiaries. Our approach this time is to provide our beneficiaries with farming inputs so that they are able to improve their production. Farming inputs comprise seeds, seedlings, organic fertilizer and small farm tools. We were able to reach-out to 120 farmers during this time. Hoping for your continuing help. Thank you very much.
Very sincerely yours,
Jed Christian Sayre

Use of local materials in gardens
Dear Friend,
Thank you very much for your generous support to our project preventing hunger in remote villages. Hunger is difficult especially for children because it will affect their mental health when they grow-up aside from being physically debilitating. This reporting period we focus our support to the provision of vegetable seeds and small farming tools so that poor families will be able to produce their own food and in so doing provide for themselves their needs for nutrition. With vegetable growing, they are also able to sell the surplus and thereby generating income that they can use in their everyday needs. We were able to provide gardening inputs as well as technical materials to 210 gardeners and we hope to increase the number as we go on implementing this initiative. We will launch a garden contest in the coming months and we will use this as subject of our report. Again thank you very much for your generous support.
Very sincerely yours,
Jed Christian Sayre
