Humanitarian Aid for Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza

We are excited to announce that through the collaborative and global effort of our Friends Associations around the world and Neve Shalom Wahat al Salam, we have raised enough funds to purchase:

• 3 Emergency trolleys
• 20 Emergency kits for ambulances
• 10 Surgical sets
• 3 Stainless steel trolleys
• 3 Doctor's chairs
• 1 Halogen lamp
• 3 Surgical knives and blades
• 2 Ultrasonic cleansers (at 20 and 9.5 liters)

Totaling $40,000

Upon hearing the news, a village member and their sons donated 3 additional beds, an emergency trolley and an emergency kit for an ambulance from their own clinic.

We have received confirmation that all of the equipment has arrived safely in Gaza and we’re happy to pass along the hospital’s message of thanks.

"My name is Dr. Mahmoud Abed el-Karim Bassal, I work at the Burn Care Center at Al-Shifaa’ hospital in Gaza, the hospital is a government hospital and is run by the Palestinian Ministry of Health.

We value greatly the efforts by our friends at Wahat Al-Salam and their international friends through their humanitarian aid committee for their support and aid to our hospital and patients. We extend our thanks and gratitude for the medical supplies and equipment they provided for the hospital.

Today we received the donated shipment of supplies and equipment and it will be distributed to the Burn Department and the Emergency unit. The supplies Wahat Al-Salam and their international friends donated are very much needed and essential to the treatment of patients."
