Since 2002, the NSWAS Humanitarian Aid Program has supported
humanitarian projects in Gaza and the West Bank. Since the outbreak of the
war, this work has become even more urgent, as blockades have made
it difficult to deliver supplies, and hospitals have been heavily damaged
in the fighting.
In July, the Humanitarian Aid Program managed to get a large shipment of pharmaceuticals to Indonesia Hospital and Al Shifa Hospital in the north Gaza Strip.
Unfortunately, the program’s volunteer physician is still waiting for permission to enter the area. If you want to donate to NSWAS’ Humanitarian Aid Program, please do not hesitate; contributions like yours allow the Village to bring critical help and supplies directly into Gaza.
Project reports on GlobalGiving are posted directly to globalgiving.org by Project Leaders as they are completed, generally every 3-4 months. To protect the integrity of these documents, GlobalGiving does not alter them; therefore you may find some language or formatting issues.
