American Friends of Neve Shalom/Wahat al-Salam have been supporting the Humanitarian Aid Program, most recently committing to purchase ten desperately needed hospital beds for the ICU at Al-Shifa Hospital.For many, the ICU is their first and only avenue of medical care. Through the generous efforts of supporters, three beds have already been purchased but there is still time to fund seven beds and provide Al-Shifa hospital with the means to give care to the sick and vulnerable.
The Humanitarian Aid Program (HAP) has worked with Al-Shifa hospital for several years now. In that time, Dr. Yehia and his team have gotten to know the doctors, nurses, and other dedicated individuals that keep the hospital running saving lives and helping patients in a particularly underserved area of Gaza.The Humanitarian Aid Program can only assist communities in crisis with your support. By giving them the resources they need, you help them help the people who need it most.
