In a time in which the Gaza strip is in dire need of medical services and supplies, Dr. Yehia and his colleagues continue to offer hope. During last month’s visit to Gaza Dr. Yehia delivered medical supplies, connected patients with the medical specialists they need, and provided clinics forcommunitities unable to reach medical centers in Gaza Strip.
Dr. Yehia and the Humanitarian Aid Program have also partnered with a volunteer delegation of Gaza-bound Physicians for Human Rights
During the visit, doctors provided surgical instruments and medical supplies to the area and participated in the Sixth Surgery conference.
American Friends of Neve Shalom/Wahat al Salam and the Neve Shalom/Wahat al Salam community have been hard at work supporting Dr. Yehia’s mission recently beginning the work of buying 20 beds for the ICU at Al-Shifa hospital, which has been underfunded and under-resourced for many years.
The incredible work of the Humanitarian Aid Program saves lives, decreases suffering, and enables people to better live life in a turbulent world.
