Gift of Knowledge Is Working!

By Qasim Alowaid/Roz Fuller | President/Vice-President

GIVE THE GIFT OF KNOWLEDGE

1. During the past three months, ICHOPE, with its staff and volunteers, worked together to prepare students registered with the organization for the final academic exams. We conducted tutoring courses for students who needed remedial lessons

  Those courses included:

- Reading and writing to students in the first stages of study (first, and second grades) / 25 students

- Strengthening courses in mathematics, English, science, social studies, and Arabic for primary school students. / 33 students

- English language strengthening lessons for fifth and sixth grades / 17 students

- English language strengthening lessons for middle school students / 22 students.

- Review for final exams for all primary and middle school students who were participating in these tutoring programs/ 56 students

- Before the last semester, ICHope held a celebration and provided incentive gifts to students who passed the semester.

2- ICHOPE is working with 4 learning centers to provide help for these students.

1- Seven volunteer members support these students in cooperating with schools, children’s families, and their transportation.

Day after day we learn that children have proven that if they receive the right academic conditions, care, and love, they can succeed in school and continue studying.

Narges is a 9-year-old girl, she used to refuse to go to school, but after attending our tutoring program she told her tutor that she liked to learn with her because she took the time to explain the subject to her and made the studying easy to understand. Narges promised the tutor teacher that she would improve her level, in a few months of attending the sessions she proved that she benefited from the lessons and passed from fourth to the fifth grade and she was very happy after she received her “Barbi dolls” as a gift from ICHOPE.

Without your support and donation to this program Narges and other children would not have achieved that succusses.
