Project Update (Q3 2024)

By Stuart Patience | Board Member

Dear Supporters,

We would like to express our gratitude for your continued support. Your contributions enable us to bring books to schools where there were previously none or very few suitable for children. By doing this, we believe we can inspire a love for reading among Indonesian children.

New BookBoxes
In recent months, we have supported various schools with new BookBoxes. Each BookBox contains over 100 books at different levels, ensuring that there is something for every child to read. This is one of the ways we try to create a love for reading.
After all, without books, how can an Indonesian child develop a love for reading?

Challenges
Sending hundreds of books is not always an easy task, especially when they need to be delivered to remote areas where conventional transportation is not available. Nevertheless, we're grateful to work with partners in these areas who are always happy to help. And that is also how we have heard how these BookBoxes meet a significant need in these areas, where there are often no suitable books for children.

Our network
We've said it before, but we are so grateful for your partnership in this. Your support is of great value to our team because it's encouraging to know that you (financially) contribute to this mission. Please don't hesitate to forward this update to those in your network who may be interested, so many more can join in on this.

Together, we continue to build the future of Indonesia!
