New BookBoxes in Indonesia - Project Report (Q3 - 2023)

By Stuart Patience | Board Member

Dear supporters,

We are grateful that, with your support among others, we have been able to distribute 4 BookBoxes in various places in Indonesia over the past few months. It has been a joy to see the impact and happiness these mobile libraries are bringing to these children, teachers, and schools!

At each location, a thoughtfully selected package was delivered, containing over 100 diverse books from a range of Indonesian authors and publishers. These books are stored in large plastic containers along with a user guide, ensuring they can be used for years to come.

By working together with our local partners, the school teachers, we believe it is very important to start 'planting' a love for reading at a young age. And by providing these 4 mobile libraries, we have taken a big step in this direction by giving them a variety of books at different reading levels. We believe this is a significant move toward planting a 'love for reading' that will not only transform them personally but also contribute to a broader transformation in Indonesia!

We've said it before, but we are so thankful for your partnership in this. Your support is of great value to our team because it's encouraging to know that you (financially) contribute to this mission. Please don't hesitate to forward this newsletter to those in your network who may be interested, so many more can join in on this.

Together, we continue to build the future of Indonesia!
