Dear Friends and Supporters,
As we gear up for the start of our Winter riding session, I would like to thank you for supporting our herd of horses and help to provide exceptional care for the heroes of our mission and partners in therapeutic activities for children and adults with special needs.
Our horses are our heroes. Our mission is successful because of the synergy created between a participant and their horse. It is this partnership that goes a long way toward meeting individual goals where individuals can improve their balance and coordination, gain strength, build self-confidence, and develop their communication and social skills. Our 10 horses work hard to give our participants the best experience.
I am excited to announce that as a result of donors like you, we have brought a new horse into the herd. Geronimo, who goes by the barn name of Mo, is a 12-year-old Arabian mix. He has been in training the last two months, preparing him for a full work schedule in the Spring. He will be eased into certain classed during the winter to get him used to lesson settings.
We thank you for your support of our mission and I invite you to come out and see our mission in action when you are in our neighborhood. It would be our pleasure to show you around our campus and share with you our latest achievements.
With deepest thanks,
