This week marks the end of our 10-week Fall session. As we navigate this challenging COVID-19 landscape, precautions have been put into place to ensure the safety of our participants, volunteers and staff. Our mounted program included those participants that can mount themselves without assistance. Other riders had a family member that was trained to assist them during class, or they took part in our unmounted Equine-Facilitated Learning program. With these restrictions, we were only able to serve about 50 of our normal capacity.
Our eleven horses are going well thanks to the exemplary care they receive and the support of donors like you. To date, this campaign has raised $595 that provided roughly 12 bales of hay to help feed our equine heroes.
We are deeply appreciative of your gift that brings the magic of the horse into the lives of children and adults with special needs. If you would like to continue your support of our horses, now is the perfect time to engage in a recurring monthly gift.
