Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) causes premature death, disability, and lowers the quality of life in the industrialized and developing world. RA is a systemic inflammatory disease that manifests itself in multiple joints in the body. This inflammation usually affects the lining of the joints (synovial membrane), but can also affect other organs.
Children are equally affected by the diseases and many children are waiting for treatment otherwise they will be crippled for life. ACF is currently donating Enbrel to these children worth Rs.400,000 approximately. ENBREL is indicated for reducing signs and symptoms, keeping joint damage from getting worse, and improving physical function in patients
Arthritis Care Foundation (ACF) is working in collaboration with Fatima Memorial Hospital Lahore and serving many patients who cannot afford the treatment expenses.
If ACF had not provided this treatment, this children would be in a lot of pain and this has only been possible through the support of generous donors. Fatima Memorial Hospital hopes to continue its noble mission, please donate generously.
