Arthritis is a disorder that causes pain, stiffness and swelling in or around joints and is a chronic disorder affecting about 14 million Pakistanis and nearly 50 percent of people of over 71 years.
If a patient is diagnosed and treated wrongly, they can become disabled for whole life. Arthritis brutally attacks the minor joints of the body. When the problem reaches its peak, medicine cannot cure it, and then surgery has to be performed to save the patient's life. Joints pain is very common in Pakistan. There is no age limit to catch this ailment. People ignore the symptoms of arthritis and avoid seeing a qualified doctor.
Fatima Memorial Hospital in collaboration with Arthritis Care Foundation (ACF) has been effortlessly helping the needy patients to overcome this painful disease by providing free or subsidized treatment. The major concern for the Hospital is that the number of patients is increasing and it has become extremely difficult to provide assistance without our donors help.
A large number of patients come to Fatima Memorial Hospital with a hope that they will be able to walk again. With your generous support in this cause is requested so that we can ensure they receive timely and proper treatment.
Through donations from our worthy donors, Fatima Memorial Hospital has made growth in terms of its services and providing free care to patients admitted at FMH. We provide free medication, biologists, diagnostics, joint replacement and expensive treatment to deserving patients from all walks of life. However, as mentioned above, the increasing patient flow is the only concern for which support in terms of donations also needs to increase.
We urge our new and old donors, our valued partners in this cause to help us with open arms so that we can eradicate this disease from Pakistan.
Thank you!
