Admitted at only one years old, little Joury was diagnosed with Leukemia in January 2020. We watched her take her first steps and lived with her the beautiful moments from crawling to running.
Today, this stylish, talkative and social girl is three years old. Every Wednesday, the center waits for Joury's energy to fill its halls, as we embrace her with open arms and warmth. Her love for participation makes her confidence overshine, as she is always having conversations with other patients and the staff. Having the ability to want to learn new things and new activities, Joury loves Maria's expressive art sessions, as she explores her creativity and skills in crafting and coloring.
Joury knows when she dresses cute or when she participates well, and she loves hearing the compliments from others reassuring her of the facts.
However, her stubbornness, till this day, still makes her cry with each visit whenever she hears her name and needs her treatments.
Joury is still regularly taking her treatments and has approximately one year left.
