Joury, a beautiful young girl who was admitted to the center in January 2020. After several visits to the CCCL, where she gets her treatment, Joury who used to love road trips from her village to the city reached the center this time with a pale and scared face. Half an hour earlier, while waiting at a petrol station, someone fired gunshots. The man was so close to their car and the sound was very loud. Joury screamed her lungs out because she didn’t know what was happening.
Joury arrived safely to CCCL, an oasis of hope and safety, but the outside world is not always like that. We hope everyone always reaches their destination safely.
Joury still has around 1 year of treatment, and her mom and dad have faith she will be stronger than cancer.
With the deteriorating economic and social situation in Lebanon, CCCL might not be able to treat the same number of patients and provide them with the needed medications; this is due to the lack of medication stock in the country in addition to the lack of foreign exchange to purchase these medications from abroad. For that, we as CCCLUK decided to step up and double our efforts here in the UK to collect more funds to support our beneficiary.
Can we count you in to help us in saving the lives of these children?
