Dear Friends,
Joury is a cute little girl who was admitted to the center in January 2020, after being diagnosed with Leukemia. Being from Tyr in south Lebanon, the road trip to the Center in Beirut is exciting to her on most days. On other days, she would be too tired to enjoy it. However; the drive back home from the Center always makes her smiley. Her 3 older sisters celebrate her arrival every time!
Joury is cute, yet she is very strong and persistent. She’s very curious and loves to play, and she has a way in getting what she wants, always. Sometimes it’s through her cute smile and other times through her loud cries. Last month, she took her first steps at the Center.
Joury still has around 2 years of treatment, and her mom and dad have faith she will be stronger than cancer.
