A Bold Decision in Times of Crisis
A year ago, Argentina faced immense economic uncertainty, with poverty levels reaching alarming highs. In response, we made two critical decisions: we increased the number of scholarships available and raised the monthly stipend for our students. These commitments represented a major financial challenge for our organization, requiring us to stretch our resources further than ever before. However, we knew we couldn’t stand still.
Looking back, the impact has been clear. Our student retention rates have improved, and two key factors contributed to this: first, a large pool of applicants allowed us to select highly motivated individuals; second, the increased stipend enabled students to reduce their working hours and focus more on their studies, providing both financial relief and a strong incentive for academic commitment.
This year, 20 students graduated thanks to the Integrar University Scholarship, bringing our total alumni to 210 graduates.
A New Academic Year Begins
With the launch of our new application and student management platforms last year, we streamlined our selection process, allowing us to announce the 2025 scholarship recipients two months earlier than usual.
Our selection process is rigorous—not only do we look for students in need, but we seek those with the resilience and determination to complete their degree despite the obstacles. With nearly 20 years of experience, we’ve learned that success doesn’t just come from receiving an opportunity but from knowing how to seize it.
A recent feature in La Nación highlights this reality through the story of Débora, one of our graduates. In her interview, she shares the challenges she faced while balancing long work hours with her studies and how sheer determination and an unshakable belief in a better future helped her push forward. You can read her inspiring story here.
Welcoming the 2025 Cohort
This year, we received 734 applications, and after a thorough selection process, 50 new students have been awarded the Integrar University Scholarship for 2025. They will join the 60 continuing scholars, bringing our total cohort to 110 students.
A Message from an Alumna
We’d like to share a message that Erica, an Integrar alumna and now a practicing lawyer, sent us for Christmas:
"If I hadn’t met you, I wouldn’t be where I am today. You believed in me when I doubted myself, and you gave me an incredible opportunity. And here I am—six years after graduating, loving my work, growing professionally, and feeling grateful. It was hard, of course, sometimes it was very hard. Working and studying simultaneously meant sleepless nights but it was worth every sacrifice. And it was possible because of the support you gave me.
Here’s to more years of Integrar, more graduates, more opportunities, and more young people studying—thanks to people like you."
Erica is also an Integrar mentor.
Your Impact
Together, we have transformed the lives of more than 200 students, proving that the real problem isn’t a lack of talent or determination—it’s a lack of opportunity.
Behind each scholarship is a young person with dreams, resilience, and the drive to build a better future. Your support has opened the doors of education and provided a pathway to economic independence, professional growth, and social mobility.
Achieving equity isn’t just about policies or promises—it’s about action. By standing with us, you are turning possibility into reality, giving young people the chance to rise, thrive, and, in turn, uplift their communities.
Thank you for being part of this journey.
