The hospitals supported by SEMA provided nearly 59,000 free prescriptions during July and eased the suffering of thousands of beneficiaries. Enormous thanks to everyone who contributed to alleviating pain and suffering during the previous stages of the campaign.
Given its extreme severity and rapid spread in displacement camps and overcrowded neighborhoods in northern Syria, the Delta Variant has depleted the warehouses of drugs, and we are barely able to provide some analgesics for critical cases. We need huge amounts of these drugs along with those required for treating respiratory diseases that result due to the infection with the Delta Variant, especially when we start to see children and young people in the three isolation hospitals that we operate.
That is why we need more than ever your exceptional support for a long list of medicines and medical consumables to continue saving the lives of dozens of patients on daily basis, especially those in the intensive care.
