Acupuncturists Without Borders has trained hundreds of healthcare practitioners throughout Europe to provide trauma informed care to Ukrainians externally displaced as a result of the war. We are in awe and extremely grateful for what they have been able to create, sustain and grow in their communities.
In the Netherlands, the government organization that houses refugees (COA/AZC) wants AWB Netherlands to add clinics to all the COA sites in the region. It is a testament to the wonderful work being done by all the teams providing services.
In Greece, Alma Holistic Therapies is opening a new community center clinic in Athens starting in September. The clinic will provide classes and care for refugees (as well as low-income Athenians).
In Poland, the work continues with a clinic being run once a month.
We thank all of our volunteers and team leaders for their dedication and creativity as they do this work throughout Europe.
No matter what, with the help of many, we continue to work to make the world a better place for all people.
AWB cannot do this work without YOUR financial support and generosity. If you are able, please give your financial support and help people sleep better, be able to make decisions about their next steps and feel more like themselves.
