After 18 years of working around the world with traumatized communities, AWB has learned that it matters more than ever to "show up" and do whatever we can. No matter what, we continue to cultivate our optimism, that the world can be a better place for all people.
As we approach the end of the year, AWB continues to do amazing work throughout Europe to support Ukrainian refugees.
In Greece, in partnership with Alma, trauma-informed care treatments from acupuncturists, massage therapists, herbalists and homeopaths who work throughout the Athens area continue to serve Ukrainian refugees.
In the Netherlands, AWB volunteer teams offered over 3000 treatments to refugees and newcomers in 2023.
AWB trained Polish practitioners who provide ongoing care for newcomers and displaced people from Ukraine.
AWB provides supplies, ongoing training and professional support for all practitioners, depending on their needs. We are deeply grateful to all the amazing volunteers, staff/board members, and community partners that bring their gifts to this work.
AWB cannot do this work without YOUR financial support and generosity. If you are able, please give your financial support and help bring more light into the darkness by donating today.
