Wishing all of our supporters a very happy new years!
Some of you may know that the goal of Nourish is not only to work in the Sigagule community outside Orpen Gate/Hoedspruit, but also to replicate our programming and model into additional communities into the buffer zones alongside the Greater Kruger, thus expanding our reach and being able to bring benefit to more people, children, and ultimately communities who live adjacent to the reserve or protected area.
2022 was an amazing year in that, for the first time we have expanded our reach into a community called Somerset and employed an amazing lady called Happiness - she will be working with Nourish to expand our projects, programs and impact into the villages in that area. This also means that our animal outreach, and animal kindness program is able to reach out to more people, from simple things to making sure dogs are not caught in snares or on wires, to checking for TVT and signing up dogs to be sterilized, we are thankful to be rolling into 2023 to help more dogs in these villages. (It's a brand new project though -we have done only a few days of home visits, and there are a lot of skinny and sick dogs, and a lot of education, and supporting work to be done)
So thank you for all the love and support, but please keep supporting as we need funding for dip and dewormer, basic wound spray, dog food, and sterilization funding now more than ever!
