Even in the midst of many difficulties due to a conflict about to enter its 12th year, we are happy to have supported about 4,000 children in Syria during 2022.
Since the FCC (Franciscan Care Center) initiative that started in Aleppo has proven to be very efficient, over the past year we have decided to replicate the same kind of intervention in other cities in Syria such as Hama and Homs.
The FCC centers offer various activities to help children: psychological support for little ones suffering from trauma due to the conflict, financial support for orphans or children from families in need, and therapeutic art and sports activities or other initiatives to reintegrate children who have lost the opportunity to attend school or have learning disorders.
In addition to this FCC-related initiative, we have also carried out less articulated but still crucial child support activities through emergency centers in Damascus, Lattakia, Knayeh and Yaboubieh.
Thanks to the support we received we were able to support:
Because of the interminable conflict, there is nothing left in Syria, and the situation is getting even worse. That is why our support becomes more and more necessary and more and more decisive!
Don't forget the Syrian children!
