Cahkui and Leah's Pig Farm in northern Thailand continues to grow in size and revenues.
They started with 6 sows in February 2021 and have successfully added 3 litters of piglets since then, bringing the drove of pigs to a total of 22. They have been able to sell several pigs for pork in the local market as well as a dozen piglets in the village. With the revenues from these sales they are keeping the farm going, as well as paying a portion back to the lender.
Cahkui plans to purchase another 5 sows to double the size of his farm. He will need to build additional stalls and and another storage room for the food supplies.
