Thank you for giving to our animal welfare operations during our Little by Little campaign in April. We raised $2030 which translated to 307,614.50 Kenyan Shillings. However, from May to July we have spent 385,356 Kenyan Shillings.

The Financial Overview in these months is as indicated below;

Primate Food: 79,334/-

Drugs and Vet Supplies: 73,042/-

Disinfectants and Detergents for the Clinic and Cages: 14,298/-

Fuel : 126,481/-

Vehicle Maintenance: 92,101/-

Noteworthy Medical Cases:

 Vervet Monkeys:

Amputated two Vervet monkeys with injuries.

Treated 1 Colobus monkey in our home troop with a fungal infection.

Responded to 39 animal welfare emergency callouts in May and June

Summary:

The funds allocated for primate food, drugs, and vet supplies ensure the well-being of our rescued animals. Additionally, the expenditure on disinfectants and detergents helps maintain a hygienic environment for the primates in our care.

 Our ongoing programs rely on consistent support, including fuel expenses for transportation and vehicle maintenance to carry out essential conservation activities effectively and respond to 39 animal welfare emergencies in the Month of May and June.

We also encountered critical medical cases, amputating two Vervet monkeys to save them from further suffering. Furthermore, we successfully treated a Colobus monkey in our home troop, nursing it back to health from a fungal infection.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to GlobalGiving and all our donors for their continued support, which makes our efforts in primate conservation and rehabilitation possible. Together, we strive to make a positive impact on the lives of these incredible creatures and their natural habitats.

Thank you for your unwavering commitment to wildlife conservation.
