Worryingly the demand for our 24hr emergency animal rescue and rehabilitation program has intensified over the years, due to increased development within Diani, Kenya. Therefore, this Campaign will help us ensure our much-needed animal welfare, rescue, and rehabilitation program is funded for the next four months. Also, this campaign aims to lift the financial worry from Team Colobus and allow the team to provide the best possible care and support needed for the primates in Diani to thrive.
A key challenge we face, made worse by the global cost of living crisis, is meeting the increasing costs we incur as a result of caring for and rescuing. the primates and wildlife in Diani. Many of the primates we rehabilitate require supplementary diets and medical care that is expensive. Additionally, there is the fuel needed for our rescue truck, which is used daily and covers our 24-hour emergency wildlife rescue services.
Through this campaign, we are requesting donations to help us to continue providing critical care and our emergency rescue service. Your support will help us purchase supplementary foods; fresh fruits and vegetables, that will ensure that our rescued primates are receiving the proper nutrition they need. We will also be able to fuel our rescue truck and provide medical care, such as medication, vaccinations, and emergency surgeries.
The long-term impact of your donation will be significant. By supporting our organization, you will be helping to ensure the survival preservation, and protection of primates like the Vulnerable Angolan Colobus monkey rescued from illegal trade, orphaned, or injured due to road traffic accidents, poisoning, and electrocutions.
