On behalf of the happy refugees, thank you very much for your financial support! How are they doing?
In mid-April 2024, 8 people who attended Polish classes took the state Polish language examination. The exam consisted of a written and oral part and, according to the participants, it was quite difficult.
But the participants are optimistic and believe that they will receive a certificate.
What did this course and exam give them? Here are some quotes from the participants:
“When I came to Poland, I started learning Polish, but it was an amateur learning experience. Only when I came here about a year ago, thanks to my knowledge of the language, I found a job in a Polish company and I finally have a good job!”
“I am a doctor and in order to have my medical diploma recognized in Poland, I have to pass a lot of medical exams, but also pass a state exam in knowledge of the Polish language. I found out about this after taking the exam. I hope I passed. This Polish course and exam fell out of the blue for me!”
Everyone is very grateful for the help they have received: "Thank you for these two years of support and care."
Two ladies who attended Polish lessons decided not to take the exam and instead learn and gain a new education. We have enrolled them in a kindergarten teacher's assistant course, but we are still collecting funds to pay for the course. This is not a large amount, if 20 people donated $40 each, we would have collected funds!

On behalf of the wonderful team of refugees, thank you for your help and warm hearts!
I have one more important message. The group wants to continue classes because they have created a support group for themselves, so you can still support this project because after agreeing the date with the participants, we will start another Polish course.
Szczesliwa grupa Ukrainek i Ukrainców…
Dopiero jak trafilam tu, jakis rok temu, to dzieki znajomosci jezyka, znalazlam prace w polskiej firmie i mam nareszcie dobra prace!”
Mam jeszcze jedna wazna wiadomosc. Grupa chce kontynuowac zajecia, bo stworzyli dla siebie grupe wsparcia, zatem nadal mozna wspierac ten projekt, bo po uzgodnieniu terminu z uczestnikami i uczestniczkami, ruszamy z kolejnym kursem polskiego.
