The Presbyterian Church of Ghana is working to register the health facility built in Nyitawuta since HOCAP has handed over the facility for the church to run it as a mission health facility. The Presbyterian Church of Ghana health section is working to have the facility registered before it can become operational.Once all the registration is done medical staff will now be posted to the facility.
The challenge that lies ahead is that the road to the community is very bad and there is no electricity in the community which will make it difficult for people to willingly work there. However, we are very hopeful that very soon the Presbyterian Church of Ghana will be able to post health workers who are willing to work in a deprived area.
The entire community are happy about the provision of the health facility but not happy with the delay for the facility to become operational. We have assured them that we are working closely with the Presbyterian Church of Ghana health sector to complete all registration and get the place to operate.
God bless you all for helping HOCAP donate a health facility to the Nyitawuta community.
HOCAP will at this point close the project from the GlobalGiving platform
Once again we are grateful
