In 2024, LIFT stayed true to its mission—empowering local staff and strengthening our team. We increased training and resources, ensuring long-term success. Last year, we shifted from expatriate to local leadership. This year, we saw the results. Our team became more efficient, more united. We refined our systems, improved casework management, and strengthened support for our partners. Every step made us stronger.
131 Reports. 18 Cases Opened. 583 Reports Shared to Support the Law Enforcement Agencies.
This year, LIFT gathered 131 intelligence reports from partners, organizations, and individuals. These reports led to 18 new human trafficking cases. Our team shared 583 reports with law enforcement to help identify victims and offenders. Every report meant stronger action, better investigations, and justice moving forward.
Rising Threats, Stronger Response.
Trafficking crimes are increasing. Online grooming, physical abuse, and child exploitation are on the rise. Global policies, like Thailand’s visa-free entry, have made it easier for traffickers to operate. LIFT responded. Our team joined law enforcement 271 times to detect trafficking cases, provide technical support, and collect evidence. 129 digital transactions were extracted. These efforts led to 72 victims removed from harm and given a chance to rebuild their lives.
Justice in Action.
One of our team members shared, “We fight for those who can’t fight for themselves. When we bring justice, we bring hope.” - T, Law Enforcement Support
The LIFT legal team stood by 132 survivors, providing legal assistance through 3,554 activities. The courts awarded victims 5,063,179 THB (149,400 USD) in compensation—critical financial support for their recovery. Our team’s relentless work also led to 303 years of total jail time for traffickers. Justice was served.
Survivor-Centered Support.
LIFT’s social work team ensured survivors received care, not just rescue. They supported 92 survivors and their families, focusing on healing, not retraumatization. Through close partnerships with law enforcement and NGOs, they conducted 472 progress check-ins and 236 counseling sessions for mental and physical well-being. Survivors were not alone.
Thank You for Standing with Us.
Your support fuels this fight. You bring justice to the vulnerable. You give survivors a second chance. Thank you for being part of LIFT’s mission to end human trafficking. Together, we make a difference.
