Dear Friends and Supporters,
As you can see from the above, with your help, we invited applications for our second cohort of Fellows! With your help we will provide the top-notch leadership and grass roots support that are becoming the trademarks of Empowered to Educate!
We were gratified to receive an outpouring of applications to Empowered to Educate from aspiring new Fellows, some nominated by our first class. The word of the second cohort was spread far and wide via our local partners World Education, CAMFED, LEAD for Ghana and Plan International.
We followed our usual rigorous vetting process, with our antennae alert for leadership capacity, evidence of innovation, and “out of the box” thinking. We want our Fellows to be team players who are in it for the long haul!
Our final selections will be made later this week; the winners will be invited to become Empowered to Educate Fellows and the second cohort will be officially launched. They will meet in person in September at our first Empowered to Educate National Education Conference, in Accra, Ghana.
Thanks as always for your support as we move seamlessly along with our second cohort of Empowered to Educate Fellows!
Kind Regards,
The Empowered to Educate Team
