Help India Fight the Unprecedented COVID Surge

Thank you for supporting SRLC’s response to the humanitarian crisis in India caused by the unprecedented second wave of COVID-19. At its peak, the wave resulted in 400,000+ daily cases & 4,000+ daily deaths. The situation was far worse in rural areas where patients were dying due to lack of basic facilities.  

At such a critical time, your support enabled SRLC to respond to the crisis with speed and agility. As the cases surged and patients desperately sought medical assistance, with your support, SRLC delivered healthcare to those most in need by opening 5 COVID-19 Care Centers in South Gujarat and Karnataka.

•  50-bed COVID Health Care Center in Dharampur, Gujarat
• 150-bed COVID Critical Care Center in Dharampur, Gujarat (in partnership with Atul Foundation)
• 120-bed COVID Care Center in Bengaluru, Karnataka (in partnership with Entrepreneur's Organization)
• 80-bed COVID Care Center in Gadag, Karnataka
• 80-bed COVID Care Center in Bengaluru, Karnataka (will be converted to COVID Hospital)

These COVID-19 care centers were equipped with modern facilities and equipment such as:

• High-quality imaging (CT scans)
• ICU Beds
• BiPAP
• Ventilators
• High flow oxygen support
• Isolation units
• Experienced doctors
• Ambulance services

As a result, many lives were saved, and many patients received timely treatment. Overall – 

• 8,000+ patients were treated
• 2,366 vaccinations were administered
• 2,832 CT-Scans were performed
• 57,212 meals were served to frontline workers and patients.

None of this would have been possible without generous donation from individuals and corporations like yours. The help you provided went directly towards providing care to patients, replenish supplies, and expand the healthcare facilities.
