The ‘Scholarship for Girls’ project provides all its beneficiaries with a cash stipend to support their education. Additionally, it implements extracurricular training lasting three to six years, focused on strengthening fundamental aspects for academic success: reading, soft skills, and functional mathematics.
Awareness and training are also provided to parents and/or guardians regarding the importance of the girl continuing her studies. Furthermore, constant monitoring is conducted in educational centers along with personalized tutoring for continuous improvement, feedback, and goal achievement.
The amount they receive is intended to contribute to sustaining their studies and can be used to purchase school supplies, shoes, or uniforms. If, under certain circumstances, it is used for some immediate family needs, they are free to do so, but these are considered special cases. Families are encouraged to use the money provided for the girls’ education.
Disbursements are made in the following months:
1st Disbursement: January-May
2nd Disbursement: June-October
The project aims to strengthen the life skills of the scholarship recipients, also supporting their educational, family, and social needs, especially to ensure that the girl stays in the school system and evolves to higher
education.
