We originally intended this campaign to last until the end of 2024- just a "end-of-the-year" giving opportunity, however, we are extending the campaign through the end of Spring.
Work on the house has been furious since Winter broke early back in February. The homeowners can see the light at the end of the tunnel and hope to move-in this Summer.
Finishing the home is a pre-requisite for adopting 1-2 more children. The family is already in the process of completing paperwork for the adoption.
As for the house, here's what's been done since New Year:
*Insulation was completed
*Most of the ceiling is complete
*Flooring is purchased and tiles will be laid in the coming weeks
*Front door is expected this week
*Fireplace is purchased and awaiting installation
*Perimeter fencing is underway
What needs to be done:
*Purchase and install the climate system
*Finish ceilings and flooring
*Kitchen
*Finish bathrooms
*Interior finishes and fixtures
*Finish driveway
We estimate about $25,000 to finish the project and we want to help the family as much as possible during this last quarter of the campaign.
