Welcome!
Term 3 is over, and unbelievably, we are in the final stretch of the 2023 school year. This year has been one of our most challenging as we strive to measure the impact of our interventions on a number of fronts including; academic outcomes, academic aptitude and reading age; and benchmarking our learners’ performance in country wide initiatives such as the Conquesta. We are continually reflecting on what we do and how we do it to improve the way we educate our Angels to achieve maximum results. Though sometimes challenging and confronting, we will continue to measure our success for the sake of the children.
We have much to be grateful for. We have incredibly dedicated staff, a beautiful school, fantastic children and parents, and phenomenal sponsors, donors and supporters.
One of our longest running supporters Rachel describes us as “The Little School That Could”. We may not be as little as when Rachel first met us, but we remain The School That Could. For the children and parents of Chintsa.
In this month’s newsletter, we share our two stories of how we are expanding the world for our children: two took part in the national cross-country championships, and the whole of grade 7 went on an adventure camp which pushed them way outside their comfort zones and taught them a lot about themselves and their class mates.
