Dear supporters,
We would like to thank you for your contribution and generous support of our project.
As time passed, the situation surrounding the education sector in Lebanon became even worse. Impoverished families in parts of Lebanon have drastically reduced spending on food, medicine and education for their children, putting their health and wellbeing in jeopardy, according to a new report released by Save the Children and the Inmaa Consortium. Some families can no longer afford water or go see a doctor when a family member is sick. Expectations raised that next year these challenges will increase, subsequently will even make the education status worse.
Unfortunately, we were able to gather 150$ only since the start of the project; that’s why we decided to deactivate it and start planning for another one to get ready to support the student next year.
We greatly appreciate all your support. Al Fares will continue supporting Children to continue learning and advancing to the next level and find solutions to reduce the number of school dropouts in Akkar.
Thank you!
Al Fares Team
