Almost a year and a half passed since Boudy, the young 10-year-old boy, started his fight with ALL (Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia) cancer.
This confrontation, though painful at the beginning, but it made him a hero and role model to his fellow patients at the Children’s cancer Center of Lebanon.
Boudy, who was supposed to spend his childhood playing and having fun like every other kid, was unfortunately diagnosed with cancer. But he never gave up, he has always had hope surrounding him through his family, his friends, and the nurses, medical team and staff at CCCL. Thanks to all the donations that came through CCCL UK and GlobalGiving UK, he was able continue his treatment for free and walk this journey in a hopeful and happy way.
Only because of this hope can we see Boudy always smiling, knowing that he was never alone and fighting this horrible disease through each phase of his treatment. Not only does hope help him live through the treatment, but it also assists him in living a normal childhood.
The hard part is gone, and the treatment is halfway through. A year and a half still consists an obstacle to Boudy to an ambitious, enthusiastic and cancer-free life. Only through your donations can you ease the treatment process giving strength and hope, and keeping the smile on Boudy’s face.
