What has it meant to you and your family to be able to receive training as a nursing assistant in the Pablo Tobón Uribe Education Institute?
This opportunity has represented hope and support, as well as bridge to achieve my objectives. This a very important part of my present and it is shaping my future. It is something that will always be a part of me and my family for everything I have received and all the learning opportunities the Institute allows me to make the most of every day so that I can graduate eventually and put all of this into practice as an excellent nursing assistant. My mother and I are deeply grateful to everyone at the Institute for not leaving us alone.
What are the most significant aspects of the training at the Institute and what impact have they had on your life?
Being accepted by the Institute has changed my perception of life: my tastes and orientations in relation to my employment and social life. This opportunity has shown me a beautiful side of assisting patients by being aware of their pain and being always focused on not causing harm, constantly realizing how important this profession is and loving it day by day, while also finding out what it is like to work at a hospital that is so important but so humane at the same time.
