We would love to share how three lives have been impacted by your contributions. This is the story of Paulina and Sara, both nurse technician students at the Hospital Pablo Tobón Uribe’s Institute; and Nancy, one of our incredible teachers.
Paulina describes her experience at the Institute as an amazing journey. She feels blessed and filled with strength everyday to keep working on her dreams. “My goal is to become a nurse technician. Everyday I have the opportunity to learn and provide the best services to others. My life has changed because now it is filled with motivation, enthusiasm and love for others. I always pray to God for more knowledge that will be reflected in transmitting peace to everyone around me. I am so thankful to the Hospital, the Institute and all of the people that have supported me in this process.”
According to Sara, the Institute has been one of the greatest blessings that God has provided her. “I feel very happy because this is the path to fulfilling the dream that I have had in my heart since I was a child. Today I can say with pride that I am preparing to be an excellent nurse technician at the Hospital Pablo Tobón Uribe’s Institute. I am infinitely thankful to God and the Hospital for having this Institute, to my family who has always supported me, to the teachers that give me all of the love in the world, and to all of the people who have helped me achieve this dream.”
Nancy is one of the Institute’s teachers. She declares that while she was working as a nurse practitioner, she understood that service to others as life’s purpose, can transcend further by teaching how to take care of others. As a teacher, I have the possibility to transmit my passion, principles and values to our youth, so that they can build their own future. I am part of a transformation of life for the students and their families. In a way, I am making a contribution to their quality of life.”
