¨My name is Yaisuri and I am from a small rural town called Támesis. My family believes that becoming a Nurse Technician at the Hospital Pablo Tobón Uribe is a unique opportunity. They have all of the expectations that I will be able to achieve my dreams. For my parents it is not easy to provide economic support for my siblings and I. Ever since I started this dream they have tried to support me. Although it is difficult to travel to Medellín from my town, with a lot of dedication and with the help of God, we have worked together to achieve this dream.
This is one of the greatest things that has happened to me. All of the illusions in my mind of becoming a Nurse Technician at the Hospital Pablo Tobón Uribe have come true. All of the obstacles that I have had to encounter are now only memories that motivate me to do my best everyday and challenge me to reach all of my other goals. To become a Nurse Technician is to feel a beautiful sensation in helping others with all of my heart. When I fulfill this dream, my main goal is to help my family economically. I would love to provide my mother with her dream of having a house. When I achieve that dream, I will like to keep studying in the health field. It gives my life a purpose and it is what makes me happy."
