This 3rd progress report of the project "Help 90 deprived and marginalized families in Nepal" describes the progresses after submission of the 2nd progress report. Major updates are given as under:
- the women group has sold 42 male Ducks to earn around 62,000 NPR (540 USD) in the months of August-Septmber
- More than 200 ducklings produced in the months of August-September
- 1,000 kilograms of Fish sold in September-October, which worths about 2600 USD
- Fish selling is continued in October and onwards
- The target is to sell around 12,000 kilograms of Fish in 3-4 months
- 5 Cocks were sold in September to earn around 10,000 NPR (87 USD)
- More than 50 chicks produced
- Ward no. 1 of Madi municipality has proposed additional funding of 5,000 USD for the fiscal year 2021/22
Since the fund raising was not enough to fund on goat raising and homestay buildings through globalgiving platform, the women group are seeking possible other fundings of Nepal government.
